離鄉別井十四載後，海因重返北海孤島上的家鄉，卻赫然發覺昔日的社區已不再熟悉，封閉排外，連童年摯友費曼亦與他疏離。村民懷疑他是假冒者，遂召開「村莊法庭」，審理其身分真偽。隨著審訊推進，矛盾層層浮現。海因的童年記憶與證人之言彼此抵牾，村中氣氛由疑轉敵，眾人愈發篤信他乃冒名之人。他奮力尋求證據以證清白，卻逐步逼近不願直視的真相。

德國新銳酷兒導演 Kai Stänicke 首部長片作品，劇本靈感源自導演出櫃後的經歷，探問記憶與身份如何被建構與扭曲。延續 Lars von Trier 作品《人間狗鎮》的布萊希特式疏離美學，本片以低飽和色調與舞台式空間，映照保守社群的排斥與壓抑，揭示潛藏的酷兒情感與曖昧張力。

After fourteen years away, Hein returns to his home village on a remote island, only to discover that the close-knit community no longer recognizes him. Suspecting him to be an imposter, they demand a trial to determine his true identity.

The feature debut of emerging queer German director Kai Stänicke, the screenplay draws on the director’s own coming-out experience, probing how memory and identity are constructed and distorted. Echoing the Brechtian distancing aesthetics of Lars von Trier’s Dogville, the film employs a desaturated palette and stage-like spatial design to reflect the exclusion and repression of a conservative community, while revealing its underlying queer emotional currents and tensions.
