法國自2013年起正式承認同性婚姻。32歲的 Céline 渴望成為母親，而懷孕的卻是妻子 Nadia。當新生命在伴侶的腹中逐漸成形時，Céline 一方面為自己爭取收養資格、蒐集「愛的證明」，另一方面也須尋找自己作為「非孕育母親」的角色定位。「準媽媽」的不安，在法律與社會的冷漠注視下顯得格外鮮明。

導演 Alice Douard 以自身經驗為靈感，把同志家庭在婚姻平權後仍面臨的挑戰搬上大銀幕，成就這部溫柔而真摯的作品。

In 2013, the French National Assembly has approved the same-sex marriage bill. Céline, 32, is awaiting the arrival of her first child, but she’s not the one who’s pregnant. In three months, her wife Nadia will give birth to their daughter. By law, Céline has to gather testimonies assuring she will be a competent parent to adopt the child. While doing so, she will confront her own definition of what a ‘good mother’ is. Director Alice Douard draws on her own experience to bring the challenges still faced by same-sex families after marriage equality to the big screen, resulting in a tender and sincere film.
